Patek Philippe 6105G-001: A New Celestial Watch with Sunrise and Sunset Display

At the 2026 Geneva Watch & Wonders exhibition, Patek Philippe unveiled a new addition to its Celestial watch collection—the Celestial Sunrise and Sunset watch, model 6105G-001. This watch is powered by the new self-winding movement 240 C LU CL LCSO, derived from the ultra-thin movement 240.

Despite the addition of 121 components, bringing the total to 426 parts, the movement maintains a relatively slim profile, measuring only 7.93 mm thick. It vibrates at 21,600 times per hour (3 Hz) and has a power reserve of 38 to 48 hours.

The movement is wound using an off-center 22K gold miniature rotor, keeping it compact.

The movement features a Gyromax balance wheel and a Spiromax balance spring made of Silinvar, meeting Patek Philippe’s Seal standards, including a daily accuracy of -1/+2 seconds.

The case is crafted from white gold, measuring 47 mm in diameter and 12.39 mm thick. A distinctive X-shaped embossed pattern adorns the sides of the case, extending to the solid case back.
